President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerian voters to cast their votes for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, in the forthcoming presidential election.
The Nigerian leader described Tinubu as a tested and trusted, who deserves to be elected as the next president.
Buhari made this revelation while inaugurating the presidential campaign of APC on Saturday in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State.
The president said he knew the presidential candidate as a progressive and patriotic citizen in the last 20 years who had invested so much in the country’s democracy.
He said the presidential candidate has proven himself as a capable one considering his past records in governance.
While addressing supporters of the party at the flag-off, Tinubu reaffirmed his readiness to transform the economy of the country when he emerges the president in the forthcoming presidential election.
“APC is one and we will move together as one to victory in the forthcoming general elections by the grace of God,” he added.
