Tinubu orders immediate ban on export of raw shea nuts

Mr. Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications in the Office of the Vice President, confirmed the decision in a statement issued on Tuesday from Abuja.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima is currently leading an implementation meeting with key stakeholders to discuss the implications of this directive and strategize on how to optimize the shea sector for local production and processing, ensuring that the benefits are maximized for the Nigerian economy.
