Head Coach of Nigeria National U-20 team also known as Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso has invited Three players from Kwara United.
The trio of Abdulsalam Abdulsalam, Shola Abdulraheem and Musa Abdulafeez Olororo were among the new six players called up for the National assignment on Tuesday.
The Informant247 recalls that the gaffer had earlier unveiled 40 Players for the WAFU B Tournament, the new invitation is reportedly coming after some backlash in the media.
The Flying Eagles who have been drawn in group B alongside Ghana and Burkina Faso opened camp for the competition in Abuja on Monday.
The competition which will kick off in Niamey, Capital city of Niger Republic on May 7 and end on 20th of the same month will see Nigeria hoping to redeem their image after failing to qualify for the U-20 Nations Cup in their last outing.
Other three players invited alongside the Kwara United trio are Ayo Adejubu of Shooting stars, Henry Uzodika from Abia Warriors and Hilary Albert Plateau United.
The 46 invited players will however be pruned down to 28 for the campaign in Niger.
While Abdulsalam scored for the Harmony Boys in their last game against Wikki Tourists away from home to secure a 1-1 draw, Musa Abdulafeez has been an integral part of the team in the current season – delivering the best of himself to help the team.
Shola Abdulraheem, a youngster with a lot of prospect is also expected to make good addition to the team.
