Super ‘Sub’ Ganacho the hero as Man Utd snatch late win against Fulham

Alejandro Ganacho on Sunday scored a late winner to help Manchester United overcome a ‘stubborn’ Fulham with a 2-1 victory.

The prodigy came off the bench to provide the much needed rescue for the Ten Hag side who have been held to a very stormy night.

Eriksen’s opener in the 14th minutes was cancelled by Dan James in the second half- thereby pushing the Red devils to another nervy moment.

While the game had to be dragged on for round of uncertainties, substitute Alejandro Garnacho scored in the 93rd minute to snatch a 2-1 victory for United.

His heroism on Sunday night followed his first United senior goal against Real Sociedad in the Europa League two weeks ago. Ganacho also provided two important assists in the 4-2 Carabao Cup win over Aston Villa last Thursday.

Aged 18 years and 135 days, the Argentine became the youngest player to score a 90th-minute winner in the Premier League since Federico Macheda against Aston Villa, also for United in April 2009 (17y 226d).

Manchester United, with an outstanding game head into the World Cup break with three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham who have 29 points.

The Red devil’s next league game will be against Nottingham Forest on December 27 at the Old Trafford.
