Shagaya honors Kwara Governor’s mother as she turns 94th
The lawmaker representing Ilorin West/ASA Federal Constituency, Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, has congratulated the prominent Kwara matriarch and mother of the Kwara State Governor, Alhaja Raliat Amope Abdulrazaq, on her 94th birthday.
According to a statement issued by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Basheer Luqman, the lawmaker noted that the accomplished mother and doting philanthropist’s life has been one of sacrifice, kindness and service to Kwarans, all strata of people in Nigeria, and humanity.
Shagaya joined family members, friends and well-wishers in honouring Alhaja’s devotion to serving humanity and community, blazing the trail as the first female Councillor in Kwara State and working passionately to provide quality education to the less privileged, extolling her as a leading light in the concourse of great women who have defined Nigeria’s history.
Shagaya appreciated Alhaja Raliat Abdulrazaq for her support and unceasing prayers, assuring the nonagenarian that all her supplications for Kwara and Nigeria will come to realization. He prayed for Mama and her family that Almighty Allah, whom she has always faithfully served, will grant her many more years in good health.
