On Wednesday, Samsung is slated to introduce a trio of new smart phones, with analysts forecasting an ultra-premium gadget that would appeal to Galaxy Note phablet phone lovers.
As part of a device portfolio shake-up in 2021, Samsung decided to produce a new line of foldable smart phones rather than a new Galaxy Note the large-screen phone with the S-Pen pen built-in.
According to sources, the technological behemoth will combine certain important aspects from the popular Note series, such as the huge screen and an integrated S-Pen, into its flagship Galaxy S Series, which will be introduced on Wednesday.
It is going to be called the S22 series, and it is expected to have three new phones, similar to the S21 range that was unveiled last year.
According to Ru Bhikha, mobiles expert at Uswitch.com, there is “a lot riding” on the new gadgets because the Galaxy S line frequently features among of the company’s “greatest and most widely attractive products.”
“At Samsung’s Unpacked presentation, we anticipate to see the tech giant introduce three handsets: the ordinary S22 smartphone, the bigger S22+, and the more expensive S22 Ultra,” he stated.
“The main difference between the S22 and S22+ will be size, with the S22+ said to feature a 6.6-inch screen, which is significantly larger than the 6.1-inch S22 display.”
You can also expect Samsung to push the boundaries of camera functionality, particularly when it comes to video, with the S22 series.
“Samsung dropped the Galaxy Note series last year, but aficionados of luxury ‘phablets’ should warm to the S22 Ultra, which is rumoured to contain not just the Note’s integrated S Pen pen, but also have it embedded into the handset, a first for a S series.”
Given the historical success of the Note series, he noted that the inclusion of the pen to the S line for the first time might push other phone makers to follow.
“While the S Pen isn’t for everyone, by putting it into future Galaxy devices, Samsung may be creating a pen trend for other brands to follow.
