Saliu Mustapha Foundation, a Kwara based Non Governmental Organization (NGO) has made a donation of 10 complete sets of Braille Qur’an to schools of Special Need across Kwara State.
This came a few days to the commencement of Ramadan fasting — one of the 5 fundamental pillars of the Islamic religion.
The donation was made to also ensure that the physically challenged people feel the blessings and spiritual benefits of the Holy month.
The donations were received by respected scholar, Prof. Yusuf Badmus and Alh. Funmilayo Gold on behalf of Kwara Muslim Stakeholders.
Representing the foundation was Mallam Yakub Ishowo, who presented the Qur’an to the religious leaders.
He said the foundation would continue to make the needs of the physically challenged people its priority, as they deserved to be treated as every other people.
While speaking on behalf of the Kwara Muslim Stakeholders, Prof. Yusuf Badmus, thanked the foundation and wished it for more prosperous contributions.
