Recruitment: Police start documentation of successful candidates

The Police Command in Niger State has implored successful candidates who are participants in the ongoing ninth regular course intake to the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Kano, to get ready for screenings.

The police command revealed through a statement released in Minna, the capital of the state on Thursday that credential and physical screening would start from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1 at Police Secondary School, Minna by 8a.m. every day.

The spokesperson of the police command, Mr Wasiu Abiodun, revealed that all those who applied would be present at the centre of the screening in white short knickers and T-shirts.

He said a declaration of age or original/photocopies of credentials/birth certificate, national identification card/slip, which include the print-out results of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME are mandated on them.

“Other mandatory requirements include print-out of the application profile page, invitation slip, indigene certificate signed by local government chairmen/secretary and medical certificates from a recognised government hospitals.

“Also required are certificates from village/district heads of the applicants, duly completed guarantor’s form; all which should be arranged in two office files with recent passport photographs,” he said.

Monday Kuryas, the Commissioner of Police has sent message of congratulations to the successful candidates and implored them to be of good characters during and after the screening.
