England forward Raheem Sterling is expected to return to Qatar ahead of Saturday’s World Cup quarter-final with France.
Sterling, 28, flew back to England before England ‘s 3-0 round of 16 win over Senegal following a break-in at his family home in Surrey.
The former Liverpool star is now expected to rejoin the squad in Al Wakrah on Friday, boosting his hopes of being able to feature in their match with Les Blues.
