UEFA is set to launch an investigation into the transfer of Julian Draxler from PSG to Al Ahli over a possible breach of Financial Fair Play rules.
Draxler became the third PSG player to leave for Qatar this summer following footsteps of Verrati and Diallo.
Meanwhile, these transfers are coming when the French needed significant sales to balance their accounts and avoid the shadow of Financial Fair Play.
According to L’ Equipe, UEFA could freeze these amounts so that they do not count in their accounts, in addition to being able to face a possible sanction.
The investigation among other things also aim to assess the ethics and cleanliness of these transfers given the closeness between PSG and Qatar.
