Private schools donate COVID-19 training kits to Kwara govt
The National Association of Proprietors of Private School (NAPPS), Kwara State chapter, on Wednesday, donated COVID-19 training kits to the State Ministry of Education.
The kits, which is meant to be put to use by schools in the state ahead of resumption, was presented to the Commissioner for Education, Hajia Fatimah Bisola Ahmed in her office on Wednesday.
While presenting the kits, the President of NAPPS, Dr R.A Lateef explained that the gesture is part of the social responsibility of the body to consolidate the government’s effort towards the safe reopening of schools.
For her part, the commissioner while, receiving the kits, appreciated the gesture and commended the effort of the private establishments adding that the kits would help in curtailing the spread of COVID-19 when schools eventually resume.
