Police caught female drug dealer in Kano

The Kano state police has arrested a female drug dealer, Jamila Abdullahi, 30, of Kwanar Ungogo Quarters in Kano metropolis for purchasing and selling illicit drugs.

The police spokesperson in the state, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said a report has earlier being given about the suspect, engaging in the acts and that the police had invited her and her relatives to sign an agreement not to involve in the acts again.

The police spokesperson added that the suspect was intercepted by a team of Operation Puff Adder led by DPO of Ungogo, while they were on security patrol in the area, and caught the said Jamila with 35 tubes of rubber solution.

He said, “Credible information received revealed that she is the major dealer of rubber solution that is used for intoxication in Ungogo LGA and environs.

“On investigation, Jamila confessed that she is a widow and that she has been in the business of buying and selling rubber solution for over two years. After her first invitation she stopped, but later continued selling the rubber solution.

“She further confessed that she used to buy the intoxicants from someone. But having learnt about her arrest, the person left the country.”
