PFA volunteers congratulate Sheikh Dansuki on installation as 13th Chief Imam of Ilorin
The Professor Fatai Aremu (PFA) Volunteers have congratulated Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dansuki on his installation as the 13th Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate, describing his emergence as a reflection of his lifelong dedication to Islam and service to humanity.
In a congratulatory statement, the group said the historic appointment was a testament to Sheikh Dansuki’s unwavering devotion to the Islamic faith, exemplary moral character, and years of selfless service to the Ilorin Emirate.
The volunteers expressed confidence that the new Chief Imam would provide purposeful spiritual leadership, foster unity among Muslims, and contribute to the continued peace and development of the Emirate.
“We are confident that your wisdom, scholarship and exemplary leadership will continue to strengthen the bonds of unity, promote peace, and advance the spiritual and social development of our cherished Emirate,” the statement read.
The group also congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the successful installation of the new Chief Imam.
According to the statement, the Emir’s leadership and commitment to preserving the Islamic and cultural heritage of the Ilorin Emirate have continued to inspire the people and strengthen the institution of the Emirate.
The PFA Volunteers prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, good health, strength, and long life for Sheikh Dansuki as he assumes the religious office, expressing hope that he would lead the Muslim Ummah with justice, compassion, and excellence.
The group also prayed for the continued preservation of the Emir, lasting peace, unity, and prosperity in the Ilorin Emirate, and progress for its people.
