Peter Obi visits former president, Jonathan ahead of 2023 election campaign
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has visited the former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, ahead of 2023 presidential election.
Obi revealed that he and the former president exchanged ideas on issues of national significance during the meeting.
While sharing photos of the visit via his Twitter handle on Thursday, the former Governor of Anambra state revealed that their discussion were not unconnected with arrays of national interest questions ahead of the election.
“I recently visited my senior brother, H.E. @GEJonathan to exchange views on an array of serious national interest questions. -PO,” Obi captioned the pictures.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed that the campaign for presidential, and National Assembly elections will begin on September 28, 2022, while that campaigns of governorship and state houses of assembly will begin on October 12, 2022.
