The funeral of Queen Elizabeth will take place in London on Monday.

A host of leaders all over the world, royalty and other dignitaries are going to be present at the funeral service.

Some 500 heads of state and foreign personalities are to be present at the funeral, the BBC said.

All holders of Britain’s highest military honour, the Victoria Cross and the George Cross, are invited to the funeral service.

The officials of the foreign office have handwritten around 1,000 invitations for the funeral service and a reception with the new monarch, King Charles on Sunday.

The invitees have got the deadline of tomorrow to accept funeral invitations before the foreign officials can conclude the seating plan.

Sources from the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the country capital revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari would be stood for by his vice president, Yemi Osibanjo, at Westminster Abbey.
