Owode Fire Outbreak: Gobir sympathizes with victims, Oloffa

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Kwara State and gubernatorial aspirant in the 2019 general elections, Waziri Yakubu Gobir on Tuesday extended his sympathy to victims of the fire outbreak in the popular Owode Market in Offa, where at least 20 shops and warehouses were burnt.

In a statement released from his media office in Ilorin, Gobir expressed that he was deeply saddened by the destruction of very valuable goods and property in the inferno.

Gobir also sympathized with Oloffa of Offa, His Royal Highness, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II and the entire people of Offa on the fire incident.

He prayed that Almighty Allah relieves the Traders and replenish their purse for the loss.
