Some members of the Social Democratic Party and loyalists of a former gubernatorial candidate in Osun, Iyiola Omisore have perfect plans to dump the Social Democratic Party, SDP for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The defection of the thousand of SDP members under the auspice of Kosemani Group will be witnessed by party stalwarts at the PDP South-West unification rally, holding in Ibadan capital of Oyo state on Wednesday 18th March 2020.
Among well-known members of SDP that would lead others back into the PDP fold with pomp and pageantry are, Mr Hamzat Folaranmi, Deputy state chairman & chairman planning committee for the return to PDP,
Engr Adetoye Ogungboyega, Senatorial chairman Osun West & chairman contact committee, Pastor Tunde Hamzat- State financial secretary, Alh Musibau Shittu, state treasurer, Alhaja Iyabo Oyedele, state woman leader and Mr Lekan Obisakin, state welfare secretary.
Others are; Hon Emiola Fakeye, Leader Ijesa South Fed constituency, Alhaja Yekini Tawakalit, Leader, Iwo Fed constituency,Sooko Elugbaju Kemade, Leader, Ife Fed constituency, Hon Sola Ayandirin, leader Osogbo/Olorunda Fed constituency, Hon Adekunle Adeoye
Leader, Ayedaade Fed constituency, Mr Kanmi Adelani

Leader, Boluwaduro Fed constituency.
Alhaji Kamil Buhari, former Supervisor for Agric and Former secretary of PDP, Ejigbo local government, Mr Musbau Salau, former secretary of PDP and present secretary of SDP, Hon. Taofeek Yusuf, former PDP Youth Leader and Hon. Rahmon Bakare, a former supervisor for Education Ejigbo local government.
Party chairmen from Ayedire, Iwo, Ayedaade, Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Boluwaduro, Ifelodun, Atakunmosa East, Osogbo, Olorunda, Obokun and Boripe local governments would not be left out in the mass defection.
It would be recalled that the Kosemani Group, who form a majority of the SDP members under Omisore that garnered 128,000 votes in the last gubernatorial election, agreed to part ways with the party due to what they labelled as high handedness and selfish interest of the flagbearer.
