NSCDC commended for ensuring security in Kwara
Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) has commended the State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) for their efforts at ensuring the security of residents in curtailing crime and civil unrest.
The General Manager of the Agency, Alhaji Ismail Asukuti, made the commendation while receiving the new Head of Operations of the Corp, Deputy Commandant, Wali Jibril Ahmed, who paid him a courtesy visit at the office in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
Asukutu, while stating that the NSCDC, as a well-organised professional security agency attached to the Agency, has proven to be a good ambassador of the Corps, assured that the agency will continue to work per best global practices in the signage and outdoor industry in the State.
However, the KWASAA boss, while asking for more synergy between NSCDC and the agency to ensure a clean environment devoid of indiscriminate pasting of posters and billboards, also advised the residents of the state to visit the agency before erecting billboards or placing adverts
Earlier, the new Deputy Commandant of the Corps, Wali Jibril Ahmed, thanked the agency and promised that the command would continue to support the agency and ensure the protection of the lives and property of Kwarans.
The visit had in attendance the head of billing, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar Gunu, the head of site inspection, Mr Samson Olaoye and Mr Siraju Olufadi, while the new Head of Operation had in his entourage, SC Muhammed Ismail Bawa, SC Adeniran Kazeem and DSC Daramola C.Oluwaseun.
