Kwara State police command vows to nail ATM vandals

The Kwara State Police Command is on the trail of vandals of Authomated Teller Machines (ATM) in Ilorin. The Commissioner of Police, Cp Kayode Egbetokun has condemned this ignoble occcurence and vowed to employ every available arsenal to bring agents of this nasty act to book.

He however, called on members of the public to apprise the force of vital intelligence that can bring about the arrest of these miscreants as no stone will be left unturned in order to stem the tides of this criminal act.

The Informant247 gathered that two ATM of a bank (identity undisclosed) was damaged by unknown criminals in the wee hours of Thursday morning, 30th January, along New Yidi Road as they made away with an undisclosed amount of money while setting the machines ablaze.

The commissioner of police, therefore doused tension as he advised to go about their lawful activities without any fright, guaranteeing the safety of lives and properties of business community.
