NPFL: Kwara United coach declares team ready as Harmony Boys prepare for Kano Pillars opener

Kwara United technical adviser Ashifat Suleiman has expressed satisfaction with the team’s preparations for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season, saying the Harmony Boys are nearing readiness for their opening clash against Kano Pillars.

Kwara United will host Kano Pillars at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium, Ilorin, in their first game of the new campaign.

Suleiman’s side are currently participating in a pre-season tournament in Katsina as part of preparations for the season.

The technical adviser said the team would continue to work on its cohesion and ensure the players function effectively as a unit before the campaign begins.

“We will continue to work hard to ensure the team blends together and functions as a unit before the new season kicks off,” Suleiman told the club’s media.

The Harmony Boys will hope their pre-season preparations translate into a strong start when they face Kano Pillars in front of their home supporters in Ilorin.
