No more strikes, you will get education loan, Tinubu assures Nigerian students

The newly elected president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has promised a better education system for Nigerian students.

Speaking after he was declared the winner of the presidential poll which was held on Saturday, February 25, the former Lagos State governor of Lagos State said students and the youths will be given the best of attention.

“I will pay (sic) undivided attention to your education. Credit will be available and education loan. Four years course will be a(sic) four year course-no more strikes”

He further stated that the Universities in the Country will be autonomous and will not be allowed to sell handouts to the students.

“Your University will have the autonomy to be able to upgrade your syllabuses and be creative- No more selling of handouts, they must be authors and it’s great for the nation. I know where it pains and believe you will see the reward of your election” he said.
