The Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has reacted to comment made by the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu on Wednesday.
Tinubu, in a statement issued by his campaign spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, had warned Obi to call his supporters to order and allow the 2023 general election to be about issues that will advance the growth, progress, and stability of Nigeria.

The PDP has been embroiled in internal crisis following the nomination of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as its vice-presidential candidate
Wike, who came second in the presidential primary won by Atiku Abubakar, had been giving a cold shoulder to the party after losing the vice-presidential slot to Okowa.

This was as Umahi stressed that it was unreasonable for the Federal Government led by the President, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) to borrow over N1 trillion to meet the demands of the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

Tinubu denies requesting N50bn monthly from ex-Lagos Gov, Ambode
The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has denied reports alleging that he demanded N50 billion monthly from the former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode during his administration.
Reports have it that Ambode who emerged governor of the state in 2025, had only four years in office as his attempt to secure a second tenure failed after he lost the APC primary election in 2018.

The Director of Media and Communications of the Tinubu Campaign Organisation(TCO), Bayo Onanuga has on behalf of the presidential flagbearer alleged that the supporters of Obi have been circulating fake news to the general public, causing reputational damage to the APC candidate.
Terrorists release seven more Kaduna-Abuja kidnap passengers
