Brigadier-General Mohammed Kaku Fadah, the 19th Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has resumed.
The new DG while speaking on Wednesday during the handover and takeover ceremony which took place in Abuja, the country’s capital, said he would ensure that the legacies of his predecessor were maintained.
“The outgoing NYSC DG has left a very big shoe in front of me and I hope to work hard to fit into it. All the ongoing projects, I’ll ensure they get completed. All his legacies will be maintained,” he said.
He however admonished staff of the scheme not to involve themselves in any shady activities, but they should rather work with him to grow the scheme.
The outgone NYSC Director-General, Major-General Ibrahim Shuaibu, persuaded the staff to lend their support to his successor.
