- Nigerians vs Ghana: Sports Ministry, NFF To Provide 20,000 free match tickets for fans
In a bid to gather the necessary support for the Nigeria Super Eagles ahead of their second leg Qatar World Cup 2022, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports in conjunction with Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has jointly purchased 20,000 free match tickets for football fans.
The development is coming after the former Governor of Abia State and current Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has through his foundation also purchased 5,000 free match tickets for Nigerians to watch the game.
Among many other strategic efforts to gather support for Eagles is the provision of 100 buses for free transportation courtesy of the FCT Minister.
The Informant247 Nigeria News recalls that CAF, has ahead of the game granted approval to NFF to use the full capacity of the 60,000 Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
Fans and spectators alike have however been urged to locate the designated bus station closest to them and get a ticket while boarding the bus.
Super Eagles of Nigeria, having played out a goalless draw in the first leg of the qualifiers are looking forward to secure the ticket to the world cup when they face the Black Stars of Ghana on Tuesday in the reverse fixture.
