Creme de la creme in Kwara State have felicitated Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 59th Independence Anniversary celebration on Tuesday,1st October, 2019.
Governor Abdurrahman in his Independence Day message to Nigerians charged Nigeria’s elites irrespective of their political ideologies to join forces and strive for the development of the country.
The immediate past governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Fatai Ahmed followed suit as he expressed optimism about Nigeria.
“As I join other Nigerians in celebration, I am optimistic that this country’s best is yet to come, especially when we overcome existing obstacles to true nationhood. We can create the atmosphere for a unifying national vision and ethos that will propel our country and every Nigerian towards full potentials,” he said.
Senator Oloriegbe joined his Kwara contingents in independence celebration, assuring Nigerians that the 9th Senate will not hesitate to promote developmental agenda with the cooperation of the executive and judiciary to further deliver dividends of democracy to the Nigerian populace.
Dignataries such as Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi and Adetunji Oyabambi in the spirit of patriotism prayed for the peaceful coexistence and prosperity of the country.
