“Considering the alarming rate of unemployment in the state we find it imperative to equip our young talent with the skills that will make them self-employed and give them more edge in the labour market.”

“We all know we are now in a digital world, where digital can be referred to as the new oil. So the I’m programme is to equip the selected trainees with the required basic digital training in web design and graphic design in order for them to have more edge in labour market in the future,” he stated.

Commending the initiative, one of the trainees, Yusuf Kabirah from Crown Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, commended the effort of the organisers, she described the training session as an insightful one charging the organizers to do more of it
She said, “I’m interested in designing and I have the zeal for learning. I didn’t have the idea of Corel draw before but so far now I have learned many things, they taught us how to design banners, logos, cartoons, and others.
“I appreciate the effort of NAKSS because Corel draw is not something you can sit down and learn on your own, you need to have an instructor, they have made positive impacts in our lives, I will advise them to do more of this kind of program.”
