One Yusuf, a member of a vigilante group in Jada Local Government Area of Taraba State has been gunned down by his stepson, Suugbomsumen Adamu, while testing the efficiency of gun charms.
A source informed newsmen that the stepson was directed by the victim to shoot him after putting on the charm around his stomach.
The spokesperson of the police in the state, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, while reacting to the incident said the it happened on Thursday.
The State image maker of the police said that the Command would drag to court whoever is found wanting.
He also sent message of warning to members of the public public to stay away from the use of firearms while those who possess them are to do so in accordance with the rules and regulations to save their lives and others.
