N300m LG fraud: EFCC begins probe of Kwara govt officials

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Tuesday said the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has begun probe into the local governments’ allocation and disbursements.

The Governor disclosed this while inaugurating members of the recently constituted panel of inquiry in Ilorin, the state capital.

The governor said the anti-graft body is expected to conduct a probe into the alleged monthly diversion of N300m from the Local Government funds.
