The executive governor of Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq issued a directive mandating undelayed adoption of the use of the national coat of arms in the state, effectively launching the one adopted in 2012 by the past administration.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye.
“With immediate effect, the administration has dropped the Kwara State Coat of Arms and has reverted to the use of the Federal Coat of Arms,” he noted.
The statement revealed the Secretary to the State Government has been instructed to enforce the order.
In 2012, Kwara state resorted to a different coat of arms.
