Muktar Shagaya drives inclusivity through Town-Hall meeting
In a monumental stride towards fostering community unity and cooperation, Honourable Representative Muktar Shagaya, representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, orchestrated a groundbreaking Town Hall meeting that converged stakeholders from every corner of the constituency.
This unprecedented gathering saw the participation of religious leaders, traditional rulers, security personnel, community-based organizations, individuals with disabilities, market women, artisans, journalists, teachers’ unions, political figures, transport operators, as well as vibrant youth and women’s associations.
The assembly provided an open arena for constructive dialogue, enabling attendees to voice their opinions, provide feedback, and advocate for their priorities.

He took the occasion to unveil his initiative of appointing Liaison Officers to represent the 29 wards in Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency.
This, he expressed, is part of his strategic plan to deepen community relations and instill a sense of belonging among constituents.
Held at Afon, the headquarters of the Asa Local Government Council, the Town Hall meeting afforded participants the opportunity to share their personal experiences, insights, and suggestions on how to address the pertinent matters facing the constituency.
