Messi opens up on Inter Miami’s win against FC Dallas
Lionel Messi has credited his team for their resilience in their league cup round of 16 win against FC Dallas.
Messi on his Instagram, who said his team fought until the last moment thanked the people of Dallas for the love they showed to Inter Miami.
The Argentine wrote: “We fought until the last moment and at the end we got another win!! One more step. Thanks to all the people in Dallas for the love.
It was a tough battle for Messi and his fellow teammates in the Leagues Cup round of 16 clash on Monday.
Inter Miami after a long stretch won 5-3 on penalties to qualify for quarter-final of the competition after playing 4-4 in the regulation time.
Messi had opened the scoreline for his team in the regulation time and during the spot kick.
They will now face Charlotte FC in the quarter final on Friday, August 11 at DRV PNK Stadium
