A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Friday, dismissed another suit filed against the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu by three individuals seeking to stop the May 29 inauguration, claiming that Tinubu supplied false information to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) about his age and citizenship status.
This is coming shortly after the Supreme Court dismissed the PDP suit seeking the disqualification of Kashim Shettima as the vice president of All Progressives Congress (APC) for double nomination
In a ruling, Justice James Omotosho held that the suit by Praise Ilemona Isaiah, Pastor Paul Isaac Audu and Anongu Moses was frivolous and an abuse of the court process, saying that the plaintiffs lacked the locus standi to file the suit while adding that court could not exercise jurisdiction to hear it because it relates to a presidential election.
