An Ethiopian father of 11, Tadesse Ghichile, has enrolled at a university at the age of 69.
Tadesse Ghichile, reportedly lost his parents when he’s young, and could not further with his formal education until much later in life.
The 69-year-old father has however registered himself in Jimma University where he hopes to acquire a medical degree.
It was gathered that Tadesse Ghichile is a farmer.
While still going about his farming activities and other menial jobs, he was still able to sit for and pass the national university entrance exam.
Ghichile told the BBC he’s had lots of support from fellow students in the past few years and that he’s looking forward to what lies ahead.
