Lagos gov tests positive for COVID-19

The governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-olu has tasted positive for COVID-19.

“Following Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s exposure to a confirmed case of #COVID19, a PCR test performed yesterday the 11th of December has confirmed that he has indeed been infected with the virus which is supported by mild,” statement posted on the verified Twitter handle of the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi reads.

It was earlier reported that the governor had self isolates as his close aide tested positive some days ago.
