Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Governor, on Friday, approved the reappointment of Jubril Gawat and Wale Ajetunmobi as his Senior Special Assistants.
It was gathered that two appointments were approved by the governor in separate letters to them and signed by the state Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, saying the appointments are with immediate effect.
Prior to their reappointments, Gawat served as Sanwo-Olu’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media during the governor’s first term in office, while Ajetunmobi had also served during the governor’s first tenure as the Special Assistant on Media (Print).
Sanwo-Olu reappointed Ajetunmobi to the same position as Senior Special Assistant on Press (Print Media).
Muri-Okunola, in the letters confirming the development, noted that the reappointment demonstrated the governor’s high-level confidence and trust in the appointed media aides.
“In reappointing you, the state government expects you to demonstrate a high level of dedication, diligence, and selflessness in the discharge of your duties to justify the confidence and trust reposed in you,” the HoS said.
