The Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim discarded the unwarranted rumour making round on the rift between him and his brother, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed. *He said, ”the rift only exists in the gullible minds of people who are envious of our solid and strong political structure.”*
He emphasized that he enjoys smooth relationship with his brother, leader from Kwara South, and Governor of the State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed (Sai Maigida).
*”In our structure, we can never fight over party ticket, under the watch of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki. Whoever the party structure under our Leader favours enjoys the support of all without rancor from any quarters”, he added.*
Senator Rafiu stated clearly that there is strong leadership in place in Kwara State under the Nigerian Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki bestowed on him by God Almighty.
He made this statement at a meeting held with all the APC chairmanship candidates across the Kwara South Senatorial District in preparation for the coming LG election on the 18th November, 2017.
At the meeting, Senator Rafiu pledged his support for the APC candidates to compliment the efforts of the Leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed, to ensure landslide victory at the pool.
