Kwara South monarch condoles Gov. AbdulRazaq over father’s death
The Oloota of Odo Owa, Oba Joshua Adeyemi Adimula, has sympathised with the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over the death of his father, Alhaji Folorunsho Abdul-Razaq SAN (OFR).
The deceased, who was the first lawyer from the Northern Region, Mutawali of Ilorin and Tafida of Zazzau(Zaria), he was also Chairman of the Nigerian Body of Benchers, dies at the age of 93.
The monarch, in a statement issued by the Palace Secretary, Mr Sesan Olayemi, on Tuesday, described the death of the AbdulRazaq’s patriarch, who was also a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as a monumental loss to the Ilorin emirate, Kwara State and the nation at large.
Adimula, however, prayed that God will console members of the family and everyone who is bereaved adding God will grant them fortitude to bear the loss.
Meanwhile, the monarch also congratulated the Oloffa of Offa, Oba Muftau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
Oba Adeyemi described him as a visionary leader whose leadership qualities have impacted positively on the rapid socio economic and infrastructural development of the ancient town.
The Kwara South monarch prayed for peace of Offa, long life and prosperity for the royal father.
