The Kwara State chapter of the Student Union Government (SUG) under its president, Comrade Ishola Abdulsalam Gbolahanmi Popularly Known as Gigabyte on Wednesday, held the 3rd edition of the SUG leadership summit for the students of the institution.

The Informant247 gathered the summit titled: THE ART OF DIPLOMATIC LEADERSHIP, WHAT IT IS, WHAT IT’S NOT, took place at Rear Admiral Mohammed Lawal (RTD) Auditorium, Kwara State Polytechnic.

It was learned that the renowned community developer, Dr. Lawal O. Olohungbebe was the guest speaker at the historical event that featured the award presentation and launching of Kwara Poly Bulletin.

Awardees at the event include the Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr Abdul Jimoh Mohammed, Former Kwara State Commissioner for Youths, Hon. Bode Towoju, ECOWAS youth ambassador, Hon. Sulaiman Lekan Gadaff.

Others are Kwara State Polytechnic Alumni President, Engr. Abu Salami, Dr Lawal O. Olohungbebe and others who too numerous to mention.

In his remarks, Sen. Ishola Abdulsalam (Gigabyte, GCRA), the SUG President, expressed his sincere appreciation to all individuals who attend the event, while also extended his appreciation to his fellow executives who stood firm and work tirelessly to ensure the success of the program.

According to him, “I also extend my appreciation to my dear fellow executives who stood firm throughout the preparation of the event and also to our dear fellow students, thank you all for honoring the union invitation and thank you for placing your confidence and trust in us to pilot the affairs of our dear citadel of excellence to the best of our ability.”

“Moreso, I want to assure you that our dear citadel of learning will always endeavour to reflect the utmost compassion, honesty, and integrity throughout the administration engagement.

“However, I want you to know that we are dedicated to serving you better, from this moment to the very end, your struggles are our struggle, your concerns are our concerns and your hopes are our hopes, we have a lot of work ahead of us and we are ready for the tasks ahead.”

“Remember, your comfortable welfarism and serving you truly is the priority of the GIGABYTE led administration.”
