The announcement was made by the Commissioner for Energy, Engr. AbdulAzeez Kola AbdulGaniy, during the first quarter 2025 Inter-Ministerial Press Briefing held at the Ministry of Finance Conference Room in Ilorin, the capital of the State.

Engr. AbdulGaniy detailed the administration’s achievements under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, including the recent procurement and installation of a transformer and its accessories at the Fire Service Station on Wahab Folawiyo Road in Ilorin.

This development aims to ensure reliable electricity supply to the station, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of emergency response services throughout the region.

This initiative is expected to boost local economies by enabling artisans, traders, farmers, and small businesses to operate more effectively.

“This achievement underscores the proactive and people-focused leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq,” Engr.
