September 12, 2017 Ilorin Magistrate court on Tuesday REMANDED in prison one EDUNGBOLA Segun for alleged Robbery.
EDUNGBOLA Segun was docked on a criminal conspiracy extortion and Robbery contrary to sections 97, 133, 292 and 298 of the penal code law.
Police prosecutor, inspector Folorunsho told the court that EDUNGBOLA Segun along one Ahmed BASH who was now at large invaded one BADIRU Muiz and OLUREMI Omotosho of flat 1 CBN Quarters, pipeline road Ilorin in full military camouflage uniform and carted away ACER Laptop valued N130,000:00, HP Laptop valued N100,000:00, One iPhone 55 valued N30,000:00 and black berry phone valued N38,000:00 in all N450,000:00.
The accused person however, pleaded not guilty to the charges of which they brought before the Magistrate.
Folorunsho objected to the bail of the accused person on the ground that the offence of Robbery was not ordinarily bailable and the court as no jurisdiction to trial the case.
He urged the court to REMAND the accused person to the prison pending the completion of the trial.
A J Edun and A S Abdullahi jimba, Defence counsel applied for the oral application of the accused person.
He urged the court to admit them to bail in very liberal term.
In his ruling Magistrate Dansuki REMANDED the accused at Mandala prison and adjourned to October 10, 2017
