The Kwara State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Alhaji Muritala Olarewaju, has urged youths to embrace farming in order to assist the government achieve food security in the state.
The Commissioner made this appeal during a meeting with members of Youth Forum of the Kwara All Progressives Congress (APC), on Thursday, in Ilorin, the state capital.
He expressed the government’s commitment to empowering youths in the state in order to make them realise their full potentials.
He further assured them of the incumbent administration’s commitment to wealth creation through the various agricultural empowerment programmes to women and the teeming youths.
