Kwara govt spent N740m on printing of documents in 2025

The Kwara State Government spent over N740 million on printing of documents and N850 million on waste management consultancy in 2025, according to the state’s Budget Implementation Report for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year.

A breakdown of the report shows that N444,787,450.20 was spent on the printing of non-security documents out of the N504,416,447.00 approved for the year.

Similarly, under the line item “Printing of Security Documents,” the government expended N295,406,666.06 from a budgeted N305,010,936.00.

Combined, total spending on both security and non-security document printing stood at N740,194,116.26.

For waste management consultancy, the state expended N850,800,000.00, slightly below the approved budget of N925,868,000.00.

However, the financial document did not provide details of the consultancy services.
