The leadership of the Kwara State House of Assembly has postponed the resumption of plenary earlier scheduled for Tuesday March 17 to Tuesday, March 24.
A statement by the Clerk to the Kwara State Assembly, Hajia Halimah Jummai Kperogi, on Monday, explained that the shift in the resumption date was because the members of the house are on “important state assignment”.
“This is to inform the general public that resumption of the Kwara State House of Assembly Plenary earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 17th March, 2020 has been postponed. The Honourable House will now reconvene for plenary on Tuesday, 24th March, 2020 at 10.00am.
“The postponement is due to the fact that the Honourable Members are on important State assignment,” the statement reads in part.
