Kwara 2027: ‘I’ll continue to propagate your good deeds; Abuja is your next calling’ — Sheikh Labeeb backs Olododo’s Reps bid
A popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Labeeb Agbaji, has pledged to continue promoting the good deeds of Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
Sheikh Labeeb made this known on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Ajele Compound, Okelele, Ibagun Community, Ilorin East LGA, during a free medical outreach organised by Dr. Oba Mukaila Ajao, founder of Ajike Clinic and Maternity, in support of Olododo’s sustained commitment to improving access to basic healthcare services and medical check-ups for residents of Ibagun and neighbouring communities.
The cleric commended Olododo for his consistent support for the less privileged without seeking publicity, particularly his recent contributions to various Islamic programmes and community initiatives across the Ilorin Emirate.
Describing Olododo as a respected young man, Sheikh Labeeb expressed confidence in his ability to listen to the people and address their needs if elected to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.
He also recalled recently drawing Olododo’s attention to the need to support an Islamic scholar with the publication of his works, noting that the APC candidate responded generously and without hesitation.
Sheikh Labeeb, therefore, called on residents of Ibagun Community and Ilorin East at large to shun divisive politics and make their choices based on candidates’ records and contributions to society.
The cleric’s remarks underscore Engr. Olododo’s reported interventions in community development, humanitarian services and support for Islamic institutions across the Ilorin Emirate.
