The new season of the annual football competition among secondary schools in Kwara State kicks off on Wednesday.
The Kwara School Football Challenge Competition organised by Kwara Football Academy.
The governor represented by his Deputy, Mr. Kayode Alabi, while addressing students from different schools who converge at the Academy complex for the opening event, said the event would integrate schools and develop unity among the students. Such competitions will also bring about talent discovery among the participating secondary students he added.
Earlier, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youth and Sports, Barrister Mrs Funke Banire, commended the organiser, Kwara Football Academy, for allowing students to showcase their talents.
