Bella Shmurda Calls for Justice in Mohbad’s Case, Demands Naira Marley and Sam Larry’s Arrest
Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda is making waves with a fervent call for justice in the tragic death of late singer Mohbad, and he’s demanding the arrest of his colleague Naira Marley and associate Sam Larry.
In a heartfelt statement posted on X, Bella Shmurda, a close friend of the deceased, expressed that Mohbad’s spirit has been haunting him since his untimely passing.
According to him, Mohbad had submitted numerous petitions against Naira Marley and Sam Larry, but the Nigerian police had seemingly turned a blind eye to these complaints, citing nepotism and indifference.
Bella Shmurda, visibly distressed by the situation, vowed to ensure justice prevails and is ready to pursue it relentlessly.
He stated, “For the past few days now, I have been deliberating on what to do about the authorities of the Nigerian police at least to apprehend one or more people involved in the maltreatment and malicious acts towards Mohbad.”
He recounted how he had visited Mohbad in Canada just days before his death and shared his plans. However, now, he’s unable to continue with his tour and feels mentally unfit for it.
He emphasized the importance of addressing the grievances Mohbad had against those who allegedly tormented him.
Bella Shmurda’s statement took a bold turn when he asserted, “I NO GO GREE (I won’t accept it), and I mean it. Sam Larry and the entire Marlians Music crew must be arrested. If the Nigerian police are too weak to apprehend these individuals, we’ll take matters into our own hands, be it legally or illegally.”
He called upon influential figures like Seyi Tinubu, urging them to intervene and prevent the situation from escalating further.
Bella Shmurda’s passion for justice was evident as he declared, “Police station won’t be able to contain all of us.”
Bella Shmurda’s heartfelt plea ended with a call for unity, emphasizing that it’s time to get justice for Mohbad. He urged everyone to come together and make their voices heard in their pursuit of justice.
His message was clear: “Whether you belong to different groups or affiliations, it’s time to stand together for Mohbad, who sang to make us happy, jubilate, and think. Now it’s our turn to do our part for him.”
He concluded by invoking Mohbad’s spirit, saying, “As Mohbad always said, ‘imolenization,’ let’s apply pressure for justice.”
