It’s an historical day for high flying Jude Bellingham as he once again help Real Madrid defeated Barcelona in the first El Classico of the season.

The English sensational midfielder was at the heart of the game on Saturday when he leveled the score for the Los blancos to cancel Ilkay Gundogan’s opener for Barcelona by scoring a long range Strike.

Just when many thought that the giants will wrap it up with draw, Bellingham tapped home from close range to steal all three points for Real Madrid.

In doing so, Bellingham wrote a new chapter of history at Real Madrid, becoming the first Real Madrid player in the 21st century to score at least twice in their first match against Barcelona.

Not only that, the 20-year-old now scored 10 goals from as many matches in the current La Liga season, following in the footsteps of only five other players to have managed double figures in their first 10 Spanish top-flight games over the past 50 years.

Before Jude, Brazilian legends Ronaldo Nazario and Romario both netted 12 goals in their first 10 La Liga appearances, while Robert Lewandowski and Johan Cruyff came up with 11 in 10 for Barcelona.

Also, Hans Krankl – who spent three years at Barcelona from 1978 to 1981 – also scored 10 goals in his opening 10 Spanish top-flight matches, and Bellingham also left all-time great Zinedine Zidane in his wake.

Barcelona made the perfect start on Saturday with Gundogan opening the scoring from close range in the sixth minute by taking advantage of a defensive slack of the visitors.

Barca would later be punished for failing to convert their dominance into goals as Bellingham made the most of the two chances he had in the second half to hand the Los blancos a win and also consolidate their lead on the league table.
