I’m proud of AbdulRazaq’s achievements – Sen Sadiq
The Senator representing Kwara North at the National Assembly, Sadiq Umar, on Sunday said he is proud of Kwara Governor AbdulRazaq’s achievements and plans.
Umar noted that the governor is “working with sleepless nights just to fix Kwara State”.
He also debunked meida reports that he is eyeing the state top executive seat in 2023.
In a statement issued by the Senator, he said, “We in Kwara North are a single family who believes in both the Governor and the APC family. What we care about is development that has eluded us for decades and the current governor and indeed other representatives from Kwara North seems to be clear about our problems and how to go about solving them. We do not need any distractions at this point.
“As a principle, I do not believe in pointless noise in the media, I believe in strategic developmental activities and communication. I would have ignored this fake news but considering the possible damage and distraction it could cause, I am forced to respond to this cheap strategy of cheap politics.”
Umar further plead for unity and support to rebuild the state.
