The former Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Dibu Ojerinde, has been arrested by the men of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences (ICPC).
The Informant247 recalled that the former deputy director of the board, Jimoh Olabisi, revealed at the court on Wednesday, that Ojerinde used him to syphon the federal government funds.
Olabisi, who served as a witness of the anti-graft agency, made the revelation at the federal high Court in Abuja.
The Informant247 also recalled that the ICPC had dragged Ojerinde to court on July 6, 2021 on an 18-count charge which bordered on alleged misappropriation of government funds to the tune of N5.2 billion.
The agency alleged that Ojerinde committed multiple fraud while he was serving as Registrar of JAMB and the National Examination Council (NECO).
