I invested almost N1 bn on my last album — Davido

The famous Nigerian musician, David Adeleke popularly addressed as Davido has disclosed the sum of money he invested on his third studio album ‘A Better Time’.

The talented musician said he invested almost $2 million (almost one billion naira) on the music album.

He made this revelation during the media tour for his most recent musical album ‘Timeless’ in the United States, US.

He said the money was spent on videos, promotions and features.

He said, “My last album, I will tell you, I probably spent $2 million. That is for everything. You know what I’m saying?

“I haven’t even spent $300k on this album [Timeless]. And I made more already in three days. It just shows me the level of where African music is going.”
